24h Claim Cycles
The total token pool for this phase is divided equally across the 21 cycles. Every 24 hours, starting at 00:00 UTC, a new cycle begins, and its corresponding share of tokens becomes available for allocation.
Scavenger Mine opens up eligibility beyond token holders and includes anyone who provides computing power to solve computational tasks, whether they participated in the previous claim phase or not.

Scavenger Mine reallocates unclaimed tokens from Glacier Drop. The event is structured into 21 distinct claim cycles, with each cycle lasting 24 hours. Participants' devices automatically accept, solve, and submit cryptographic challenges to earn allocations based on their performance.
The total token pool for this phase is divided equally across the 21 cycles. Every 24 hours, starting at 00:00 UTC, a new cycle begins, and its corresponding share of tokens becomes available for allocation.
At the end of each 24-hour cycle, a snapshot captures all submitted solutions. A participant's allocation is proportional, based on the number of solutions they submitted relative to the total solutions from all participants in that specific cycle. Solutions for challenges started in one cycle but completed in the next will count toward the allocation of the later cycle. Participants must submit at least one solution within a cycle to receive any allocation for that period.
The system issues one new cryptographic challenge per hour, totaling 24 challenges per cycle. The application automatically assigns the most recent challenge to the participant's device. Once the app begins processing a challenge, it will continue to work on it until a solution is found or time runs out, even as new hourly challenges become available.
A challenge must be accepted (retrieved) by the participant's browser app to be solved. This happens automatically, and participants cannot choose which challenges to accept or solve. This requires the app to be open with an active session. As new challenges are issued hourly, the app automatically accepts them. If the app is closed or the session resets, it will not accept new challenges.
The participant's device performs all solving and submission processes automatically in the background. This requires no manual input and continues as long as the browser app session remains active. After submitting a solution, the app automatically begins work on the most current challenge available, either from the local queue or the next one issued.
When the 21-day claim period concludes, all Scavenger Mine allocations are reconciled with the Glacier Drop. Final allocations are then distributed according to the mechanics specified in the tokenomics and incentives whitepaper , subject to the thawing schedule during the Redemption period.

During Scavenger Mine, all tokens left unclaimed after Glacier Drop are reallocated between Scavenger Mine participants, core network constituents, and the Lost-and-Found claim phase. The 21-day Scavenger Mine claim phase is divided into 21 claim cycles, each lasting 24h. In addition to these, a day-0 pre-registration period allows participants to register their addresses in preparation for the first challenge.
